Learning Targets

Learning Targets are goals that a teacher has that the student's should know by the end of the lesson. In order to have success in reaching these learning targets, you have to have clarity in you assessment. All students have to be on the same page before moving on. If you spend to much time on one lesson or subject it can set you back in reaching your goals for the class. But this doesn't mean you have to rush. I feel that it is okay to spend a little more extra time on subjects that you notice the majority of your students are having trouble with grasping the concept.
